After all these years you know what meals you want don’t you?
Or do you still have pangs of hunger for new things?
However one item is keeping healthy and unless you are out and about regularly not all of those calories get burnt up the way they used to.
Or even worse you find those old regular meal items are just a bit more expensive than they used to be.
Freezers come into their own if you have to buy more than you need. A few freezer bags and some labels with dates and content written on them can make life a bit more palatable.
If you can find some seasonal source for fresh fruit and vegetables, a bit of preparation you could stockpile a few meals for several months.
And if you had too much I’m sure you could help fill someone else’s freezer.
Sometimes a full meal discounted can be obtained just check out those free local newspapers.
Personally I like the buffet style as there are a lot of one plate items I just can’t stand and it’s a waste of food on a plate if you don’t eat it. I much rather put on my plate what I am going to enjoy and eat, not waste.
I always try and avoid those fatty items, they are not good for digestion system and tend to bung up the old arteries.
Same goes for sodium (salt). There is an amazingly large amount of salt in ready meals and too much of it isn’t a good idea if you want to keep your health.
