Suckers think that you cure greed with money, addiction with substances, expert problems with experts, banking with bankers, economics with economists, and debt crises with debt spending.

THE ROYAL FEAST WAS DONE; the Chairman sought some new monetary trick to banish
care,
And to his jester cried: "Sir Fool, Kneel now, and make for us a Keynesian
prayer!"
The jester doffed his cap and bells,
And stood the mocking court before;
They could not see the bitter smile
Behind the fractional reserved grin he wore.
He bowed his head, and bent his knee
Upon the desperate Chairman's silken stool;
His pleading voice arose: "O Lord,
Be merciful to me, a Keynesian fool!
"No pity, Lord, could change the heart
From red with debt to darkened wool;
The markets must heal the sin: but Lord,
Be merciful to me, a Keynesian fool!
"'T is not by gilt the downward steep
Of truth and right, O Lord, we stay;
'T is by our follies that so long
We hold titled men of fraud away from Dante's fate.
"These clumsy feet, still in the economic mire,
Go debasing common wealth without end;
These duplicitous hands we thrust
To pull the heart-strings of our bankrupt friends.
"The ill-timed truth we might have kept--
Who knows how sharp it pierced and stung?
The word we had not sense to say--
Who knows how grandly it had rung!
"Our faults no tenderness should ask.
The chastening jail stripes must cleanse them all;
But for our fiat blunders -- oh, in shame
Before the eyes of market heaven we shall fall.
"Earth bears no balsam for mistakes;
Men crown the knave, and scourge the tool
That did his will; but Thou, O Lord,
Be merciful to me, a Keynesian fool!"
The room was hushed; in silence rose
The Chairman, and sought his gardens cool,
And walked apart, and murmured low,
"Be merciful to me, a Keynesian fool!"
When was the last time you checked out where your money goes?
Have you recently checked out your insurances and are they adequate?
Even more important have you got everything written done some where safe so if something does happen your friends and family can sort things out.
It’s not easy sorting through someone else’s stuff and wondering if you have the right information.
We all avoid this tidying up the details and our computers do this regularly with the backup principle, which I know we all do without fail every week.
Have you every checked the backup system to your computer to make sure if you did have a problem you can reinstall everything as it was?
It’s really interesting actually writing everything down you want to happen it makes it so much easier for people to follow instructions than guess what they think you wanted to happen.
Insurance is always more expensive as we get on and as the word means you always have some adversities to overcome and a bit of money helps everyone during hard times.
There are specialist companies who help older people and it’s interesting to check them out and see what they can do for us.
We all have common needs but we also have individual opinions on how we approach these and it’s good to check theses out as our requirements change over the years, with no obligation.
Having money stuffed under the mattress is not good.
After all it’s doing nothing and not making you any more money. But we all need a bit of ready cash now and then but definitely large sums of money should be kept in a good bank.
